Is sound a wave or a particle?

Sound is that sensation of a object or body that makes senses of hearing. In other words sound is the vibrating particles that is created by the disturbance in a medium.
The answer is sound is ofcourse a wave that needs a metrial medium which consists of some particles for the propagation of sound wave. That’s why sound cannot travel through vaccum. Because in vaccum there is no any presence of particles and air.
Hence, we conclude that sound is a wave not particles. Particles only helps to propagate sound wave. Not sound itself a particles.
