Calculating aggregate percentage of 2 subjects. Then you must follow the following 4 simple steps to get aggregate percentage of two subjects. or even 3, 5 and ‘n’ number of subjects.
  • Step 1:- Identify your total number of subjects.
  • Step 2:- Write down all the obtained marks in each subjects.
  • Step 3:- Add the marks of at least two subjects and divide it with 200 and multiply it with 100.
  • Step 4:- Finally the required percentage is your aggregate percentage of two subjects.
Examples to prove the above rules of calculating aggregate percentage:-

According to step 1. You have to identify the number of subjects. So suppose you have 5 numbers of subjects came in the college exam.
Now, Step 2 says that write all the obtained marks.
  • Subject 1 = 80 out of 100
  • Subject 2 = 70 out of 100
  • Subject 3 = 90 out of 100
  • Subject 4 = 60 out of 100
  • Subject 5 = 40 out of 100
In step 3, add all the obtained marks of at least 2 subjects. So we take first 2 subjects to calculate their aggregate percentage.
Aggregate Percentage = 80 + 70 = 150/200
Aggregate Percentage = 150/200 × 100
Required Percentage = 75%
Hence, we can create our formula for calculating aggregate percentage of 2, 3, 5 or even ‘n’ number of subjects.
So, the formula for calculating ‘n’ number of subjects is that:
Sum of the obtained marks of ‘n’ number of subjects / number of subjects
In short, we can also write:-
Aggregate percentage of ‘n’ number of subjects = Σ ‘n’ number of subjects / number of subjects.
