A push or pull of an object is called force. Is that’s it? the answer is no my dear friends. force is not complete just by saying push or pull. Is it sufficient to say that “a push or pull of an object is called force”. so one question arises in all mind that,


what is the actual definition of force?
Force can’t be defined as a proper definition look,
We can say that

1. A force can change the direction of the moving body. 
2. a force can stop a moving object.
3. A force can start a body to move.
4. A force can change the shape and size of a body.

So we can’t define a force by proper sentence.but we can define it by taking the common concept of all above these points. All the above points have a common concept that is,

1. If we can’t push the moving body their direction doesn’t change.
2. If we can’t push a moving body it can’t be stop.
3. If we can’t put a body it can’t start moving.
4. if we can’t push or pull of an object it can’t change the shape and size.

so we can say that a push or pull of an object is called force by common concept.

Types of force

• Muscular force

A force produced by the muscles of the body is called muscular force.

• Frictional force.

a force that is produced by the irregular surface is called frictional force.

• Normal force.

When a book is lying on the table even though it seems that its stationary but it’s not. an opposing force is still acting on the book wherein the force from gravity is pulling each towards the earth. This force is the normal force.

• Tension force

A force that is applied by the string is called tension force.

• Air resistance force

the force act in air and applied by the smallest particles of the air called air resistance force.

• Gravitational force

the force acted on a body due to the gravity of the earth called gravitational force.


there are many force but I mentioned only common and important force that is used commonly in physics, after knowing all this concept of force will now discuss about the main problem that is can force be created or destroyed.

Can force be created or destroyed?

The answer is force can neither be created nor be destroyed but it can be transferred from one form to another form. Let’s understand how.

If velocity change mass also change but, Newton said that mass is constant, but this is not true mass is variable.
It varies with velocity changes. If any body travels with a velocity of light, then mass of the body becomes negligible and also note that body split into tiny particles.


So we conclude that,
