State two characteristics of the chemical reaction which takes place when dilute sulphuric acid is poured over zinc granules.

When a chemical reaction takes place, there are many thinks happens like formation of precipitate, evolution of heat, etc.
In the above question, sulphuric acid reacts with zinc metal. So that after reaction between the atoms and molecules of both the compounds a zinc sulphate and hydrogen gas produced.
So, if we write the above reaction in atomic or symbolic form. It will be as:
H2SO4 + zn = ZnSO4 + H2
The above reaction is displacement reaction because zinc metal displace the hydrogen atoms from hydrogen sulphate compound.
Now, we have to write two characteristics that takes place in the above chemical reaction. The characteristics are:-
  1. In the chemical reaction of sulphuric acid and zinc granules evolution of hydrogen has occurred.
  2. In the chemical reaction of sulphuric acid and zinc granules some little heat generated.
